In recognition of the relationship between development and trade, students participating in the Spring 2009 International Sustainable Development Clinic with the Leitner Center for International Justice at Fordham University School of Law, and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology developed the project, “Mobilizing Trade for Development: Capacity Building in Ghana,” in order to promote the expansion of Ghanaian exports to the United States.
The goal of this project is to assist Ghanaian officials and entrepreneurs in leveraging unutilized benefits under AGOA by increasing knowledge about the Act and building the capacity of individuals to navigate the Act’s technical requirements.

WELCOME TO NEW WEBSITE
We are pleased to announce the launch of the website for the project, “Mobilizing Trade for Development: Capacity Building in Ghana through the African Growth and Opportunity Act.”
This website is designed to serve as a portal for AGOA- related information relevant to Ghanaian producers, government officials, and other stakeholders to trade.

We are grateful for the support of the Leitner Center for International Law and Justice, Professors Paolo Galizzi and
Alena Herklotz, and the law firm of Crowell and Moring, LLP, whose technical assistance and guidance has been invaluable
in the development and implementation of this project.
